I first got my real estate license when I was in my twenties in Ft. Lauderdale. My father had the local Prudential franchise and I was thrown in to an international group of established high dollar agents. It was sink or swim. Fortunately I swam, with my inherit vision to see the potential of a property, and my ability to listen to my clients needs.
I moved to Western North Carolina and got my license here in 2000. My home then was in Lake Toxaway where I sold mostly second homes and spent my down time refurbishing an old chestnut hunting cabin. Also, having been in the interior design field most of my life I was constantly being asked to help others create a unique beautiful home for themselves. After 9/11 the second home market dried up and I was drawn to Asheville for the eclecticism and sense of community.
I put my real estate business on hold in Asheville to continue working with my interior design clients. Now after 12 years in design, offices in Ft. Lauderdale, Kansas City and Asheville and finishing a 20 million oceanfront Vanderbilt estate, I have moved back in to the real estate business. Also, having knowledge and a lot of interest in historic preservation I sit on the board of the City of Asheville and Buncombe County Historic Resources Commission.
I have been involved in the remodeling of 50 properties of my own in my life, hundreds of design clients homes and would love to help you find your future home. I love working with buyers or sellers. I love Asheville. And I love my work and it shows in my results.
