When Mike is not having a dance off with his wife and daughters or officiating weddings on the mountain side, he is making headway in this crazy amazing network of unique opportunities, connections and . relationships that is Asheville.
Mike and his wife moved to Asheville in 2010. The reality of having no family in the area, pushed both of them to jump in with both feet, make connections in the community and really explore what Asheville had to offer. Fast forward to present time, after being in the area for almost a decade, this amazing town and the surrounding areas, have truly become home. Now Mike has one tattoo, a decent beard and his wife have three beautiful and busy girls that keep them on their toes.
In 2000 Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Portland Bible College. Since then, he has pastored youth and young adults, curated art shows, emceed at conferences, conducted corporate trainings, served the homeless, and officiated and coordinated weddings. People have described Mike as “sincere, open-minded, calming, easy to talk to, and reassuring.” Mike knows everyone has unique desires and expectations that need to be heard and validated.
